\nAndurilโs Deployment Operations team is seeking a Technical Operations Engineer to join our ground-based air defense program.\n\nAs a member of the Technical Operations team, you will serve as a bridge between product engineering and deployed operations. You will practice extreme ownership of all dependencies to ensure that Andurilโs growing suite of capabilities achieve total mission success in austere, remote environments. To this end, you will be embedded within an air vehicle development program where you will leverage your operations and technical expertise to shape and deploy a solution of maximum effectiveness and reliability. Your scope will include standing up forward-deployed operations in austere environments, ensuring the successful combat employment of Anduril products, and shaping the long-term sustainment of these products. In addition, you will be a core participant in customer demonstrations and test events closer to home.\n\n\n\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\n\n\n* Extensive hands-on (field operations, manufacturing, or test) technical experience\n\n* Hands-on professional experience working with UAVโs or equivalent military experience as a UAV operator, maintenance technician, or Crew Chief\n\n* Demonstrated understanding of flight operations, aircraft systems, and sensors\n\n* Demonstrated ability to solve problems in unstructured situations at the interface of hardware, software, and operations in pursuit of mission success\n\n* Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams and external customers; demonstrated ability to collect differing opinions and reconcile them in order to achieve agreement on what โrightโ looks like\n\n* Experience performing data-driven root cause analysis on complex systems\n\n* Strong computer and documentation experience\n\n* Demonstrated ability to train peers or customers on the operation of a product\n\n* Willingness to travel up to 50% including occasional deployments for up to two months at a time\n\n* Able to work extended hours as required\n\n* Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. Top Secret security clearance\n\n\n\n\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\n\n\n* Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or related discipline\n\n* Hands-on professional experience working with developmental weapon or missile systems on manned and/or unmanned aircraft\n\n* Experience with one or more of:\n\n* Ground-based air defense systems, either sensors or effectors\n\n* Operations and maintenance of airbreathing propulsion systems\n\n* Aircraft or launch vehicle flight line operations\n\n* Munitions storage and handling controls\n\n* Experience developing code in higher level languages (e.g. Python, MATLAB) for analytical modeling and data reduction\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
