THE ROLE
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit aย Blockchain Engineer- EVM Specialistย to join our team of talented developers who share a common interest in distributed systems, their scalability, and continued development.ย You will be part of the team responsible for building the Chiliz chain that powers the Socios platform.ย
Duties & Responsibilities:
Building Web3 interfaces that are directly interacting with the blockchain
Mentor and guide other engineers in advancing their skills and knowledge in Blockchain development
Maintain and improve existing products
Work closely with engineers and product managers on new features
Ensure code quality through tests, in accordance with good practices
Participate in code reviews
Anticipate scalability and performance issues
Be a force of technical and functional proposals
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in developing Blockchain applications
Must be based in Europe
Strong communication skills, including the ability to mentor and effectively convey complex technical concepts
Good knowledge with best practices for securing smart contracts and App development
Good knowledge of tools like: Hardhat, Truffle, Foundry, Brownie, Slither, Solhint, etc.
Knowledge of decentralised infrastructure: components such as IPFS, Swarm, and Whisper.
Good level of basic tools: Git, VSCode, JIRA
Ability to work remotely, independently and collaboratively in a team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Willing to explore new things; curious
Good to have:

Qualifications
Solid expertise in building applications with Ruby and Rails, both working on frontend interaction using frameworks such as Hotwire, Vue.js, React.js as in backend working with high-load databases.
A robust background in JavaScript/TypeScript, with familiarity in Hotwire and other popular JavaScript frameworks like React.js and Vue.js.
Strong experience with PostgreSQL, including working with large databases, complex queries, and materialized views.
Experience with API design (REST, GraphQL) and software modeling including authentication and security.
A natural passion for creating exceptional web experiences featuring consistent interactivity and accounting for all potential user states and presentations.
A refined aesthetic sense and product design expertise, with the ability to enhance flows and UI designs independently.
